Renowned Cameroon musician, Françoise Nkotti has died. He passed on today in Douala, months after celebrating 50 years of his music career. Tributes have been pouring out on social media – from artist and fans in honour of the music veteran.



A house stacked with stolen material has been discovered at Bessengué, a neighbourhood in Cameroon’s commercial city, Douala. Suspects have been arrested by the police, pending investigations.




A woman has been arrested in Douala for torturing a boy whom she lives with. Information says she had poured a pot of hot water on the boy, accusing him of stealing 60,000 FCFA.



At least 5 members of same family have been killed in an accident along the Yaoundé – Douala highway. Reports say they were returning from a burial ceremony in the Nyong and Kelle Division, Center Region of Cameroon.



A young man has survived mob justice in the Oyabang neighborhood in Yaounde. Locals accused him of raping a young boy. Security forces arrived the scene when the alleged rapist was being tortured.
