A bus belonging to the Transcam travel agency was today involved in an accident along the Edea-Kribi road. The cause of the accident has been attributed to the dizziness of the driver. No deaths were recorded.


A request for bail for incarcerated journalist, Martin Camus Mimb and friend Wilfred Eteki was today rejected by the Douala Court of First Instance, in Cameroon’s Littoral Region. They will therefore remain under custody as the sextape leak case featuring teenager, Malicka Bayemi drags on.


Two kids in Douala have passed away after consuming poisoned food their mother had prepared for her co-wife. The exact cause of the act has not been uncovered yet as she remains detained.


Some roads unblocked by the Cameroon army in the country’s North West Region remain deserted. Among them is the Bamenda-Bali road whose closure by separatist fighters left many especially patients and traders stranded. Drivers say they fear to ply the road for separatists haven’t given them the go-ahead.



Locals of Njinikom village in the North West Region are enjoying relative calm as amba fighters have gone comatose. This comes as soldiers have launched an operation in the locality to clear blocked portions of the highway.

The institution which was one of many forced to close down due to the ongoing armed conflict in the Anglophone regions has announced it will begin receiving students this accademic year.
