Cameroon Film Industry mourns promising actor Nanje Ramesh killed in accident

The Cameroon movie industry has lost one of its promising talents, Nanje Ramesh, who died in an accident along Tiko-Douala road on Monday, April 10.

Ramesh is said to have left Douala for Limbe, where he was based, when his vehicle clashed with another, leading to his death.

News of his demise shocked friends and colleagues who had spoken with him few hours before he left Douala for Limbe.

“Nanje Ramesh, this is not the way to go my brother. You fold my hands big time bro. This is not the way to go. Death took another very talented friend of mine,” mourned Bella Bella, a Cameroonian actress who was closed to Ramesh.

Also, Christian Bate, a friend and colleague to the deceased, could not contain his grief.

He expressed his disheartenment in the the following words: “I couldn’t believe a day will come and I will be typing words on your picture. Rest in peace bro Nanje Ramesh.”

Also among those who paid tribute to him is Cameroonian musician Big G Baba, who said it is “a bitter pill to swallow.”

Ramesh has been onset movies like “Shackles of Love” (2021) and “Act of Greed” as well as some comedy skits.

He leaves behind a wife and a son.
