Sébastien Nadot, a French Member of Parliament has also joined his voice to the increasing numbers, which have confirmed that dozens of civilians were killed by government soldiers in Mbonge, South West Region of Cameroon. This further reiterates the position presented in reports posted earlier on MMI.
Some Cameroon Government propaganda social media platforms were quick to celebrate the massacre of civilians — claiming all of the victims were “terrorists”.
“More than a dozen civilians were reportedly massacred in Mbonge Subdivision, Meme Division in the southwest region, by government forces of Cameroon on Friday March 26, 2021, including women, children and the elderly. State forces were looking for separatists,” Honorable Sebastian Nadot wrote on Twitter.
