Cameroon Government Plans Public Funeral for Five Exhumed Delegates

The Cameroonian government on Wednesday, August 9, 2023, will be organizing a public funeral for the five delegates recently exhumed in Ndian Division, South West Region of Cameroon.

In a release signed on Monday, August 7, 2023, the Senior Divisional Officer of Fako, Mr.Chaibou,u called on “All mayors, divisional delegates and head of services in Fako”.

The delegates were killed sometime in June 2021, in a mass assassination orchestrated by a separatist commander known as ’10 Kobo’.

The public funeral is expected to take place at the Centenary Stadium in Limbe, in the South-West Region of Cameroon.
