Young Cameroonian Football Player Succumbs to Injuries from Fire Outbreak

A young Cameroonian football player, whose name MMI obtained as William Martial, has died after succumbing to injuries sustained in a fire outbreak.

Local reports have it that the young player died on Monday in a hospital in Bertoua, East Region, where he was partaking in a holiday championship.

“William Martial, a striker from Inter Litoral in Equatorial Guinea, has just passed away in a hospital training in the city of Bertoua,” stated a source close to the family.

According to relatives, Martial died of “first-degree burns”.

William was also a former member of the Panthère du Ndé Football Club.
