Family members, fans, and loved ones last night held a night vigil for the deceased artist, Aponglen Lesly aka Fhish.
The virtual event was hosted by Biggy Studios, the show which had Fhish as the winner of its latest edition.
At the tears-filled virtual vigil, a series of music performances were made, as well as a sermon.
Also present at the ceremony were Fhish’s family members who remembered him as a young man full of life and joy, and positivity.
To his sister, Mbonjem Vanessa, Fhish was a “passionate vibrant energetic, and charming singer and songwriter with exceptional skills…”
Social Media personality, Roy Mama on her part, urged the general public to keep their contributions coming in to enable the family to give the artist a befitting burial.
The vigil followed earlier messages of love to the deceased artist and his manager, Feka Parchibel.
Fans of the late singer had gathered in the USA to pay their last respects.
Similarly, others have been visiting the site of the accident in which Fhish lost his life to light candles and say a prayer.
Fhish and his manager, Feka Parchibel died on December 23, 2021, in a car crash on the Tiko-Douala highway while heading to Buea in the South West region.
This was after their car ran into a truck stationed on the highway. Many have been left inconsolable by his demise.
He will be buried on Friday, January 7th, 2022 in Awing village, North West region.
