Cameroon in Third Place at Francophonie Games.

The Francophonie Games are currently underway in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Cameroon is in third place in the medal standings. Morocco is in first place with 57 medals, followed by Romania with 36 medals. Cameroon has won 32 medals, including 8 gold medals.

The Cameroonian athletes have been particularly successful in athletics, winning gold medals in the men’s 100 meters, the men’s long jump, and the women’s 100 meters. They have also won medals in judo, wrestling, and taekwondo.

The Francophonie Games are a quadrennial sporting event that brings together athletes from countries where French is spoken. This year’s games are being held from July 28 to August 6, and there are over 3,000 athletes competing in 22 sporting disciplines.

Cameroon is hoping to improve on its third-place finish in the medal standings when the Games conclude on August 6. The Cameroonian athletes have been performing well so far, and they will be looking to add to their medal tally in the final few days of competition.

The Francophonie Games is a great opportunity for Cameroonian athletes to showcase their skills on the international stage.
