Douala: Woman reported missing, found dead by her house

Mercy Munsi, a 54-year-old woman who was reported missing by her family and published on Mimi Mefo Info (MMI) yesterday Friday, August 4, 2023, has been found dead close to her house in Douala.

According to information from family members, had last seen location was Total petrol Station, Nkolbong, Douala.

“She went to visit a sister who lost a brother in an accident at Bocom Yassa. After the visit, she boarded a bike for Total Nkolbong at around 8 p.m.,” a relative told MMI

Our source added that “Since then, we’ve neither seen nor heard from her. Her phone was not going through as well.”

The worker at the Douala City Council was discovered dead close to her house a few moments later.

The circumstances surrounding her death however remain unclear.
