The death is reported of a US-based Cameroonian, Tatiana, in the state of Texas.
While the cause of death has not been officially mentioned, multiple reports say her loved ones think she was poisoned back in Cameroon where she got married on December 23, 2021.
Tatiana’s demise makes her the latest in a list of diaspora-based Cameroonians or bush fallers as they are referred to in local parlance, to die under mysterious circumstances.
Days after returning to Texas, the USA from Cameroon where she got married, she is said to have exhibited signs of ill health.
She would later start vomiting blood before eventually giving up the ghost, MMI gathered.
Tatiana’s case is similar to several others recorded over the past months. In most such cases, the bushfallers’ deaths have been attributed to poisoning.
