Soldiers today foiled an attack on a waste disposal company in Bamenda, by separatist fighters. Sources say workers of the company were cleaning the streets of the Ntarikon neighborhood when armed men said to be from the ADF group attacked them. Four months after the launch of voters’ registration in the North West Region, about 5000 new voters have been enrolled into the electoral register. The statistics revealed by the North West Regional delegation of Elections Cameroon, ELECAM, which indicated that voters registration in 2021 was timid but has improved this year. Officials say they envisage getting 11.000 registered voters by August 31st this year.
