US diplomat, Tibor Nagy has criticized the Cameroon government for its recent military cooperation agreement with Russia. He said it was “…. incredibly bad timing” and a “poke in the eye of US and France, two countries Cameroon may need help from in future”.




The mother to a 5-month-old baby has been detained in Yaounde. She is top suspect in the death of her kid after it was found dead with its body decomposing. It was found dead after days of a search launched once the kid was declared missing.



Soldiers today foiled an attack on a waste disposal company in Bamenda, by separatist fighters. Sources say workers of the company were cleaning the streets of the Ntarikon neighborhood when armed men said to be from the ADF group attacked them. The armed men however took off when they noticed the presence of the security officers.

Four months after the launch of voters’ registration in the North West Region, about 5000 new voters have been enrolled into the electoral register. The statistics revealed by the North West Regional delegation of Elections Cameroon, ELECAM, which indicated that voters registration in 2021 was timid but has improved this year. Officials say they envisage getting 11.000 registered voters by August 31st this year.
