Cameroon: Staff at Prime Minister’s office bitten to death by own dog

A man has reportedly been bitten to death by his own dog in Cameroon’s Capital City, Yaoundé.

The incident, according to report occured early Thursday, June 15, 2023.

The man whose name MMI got as Simon Wonganya is said to be a staff member of the Prime Minister’s office.

Sources say; “he was alone at his residence when he was attacked by his own dog.The attack left him with some injuries.”

Simon Wonganya succumbed to injuries a few moments later, giving up the ghost.

The dog was shot death immediately after the incident, MMI gathered.

The circumstances surrounding the attack remain unclear at the moment.

Dog attacks, it should be noted, are uncommon in Cameroon.
