Cameroon: University student dies under unclear circumstances, boyfriend arrested

A student of the University of Yaounde 1, capital city of Cameroon has died under unclear circumstances.

Engamba Laeticia was found death on March 31, 2023 after attending a wedding party, MMI has learned.

“She attended a weeding reception and the following day, she was found death,” a source told MMI.

Suspicions?

Engamba Laeticia was a final year student in the department of modern letters.

The circumstances surrounding her death are sketchy, noted our sources in Yaounde.

While others say she might have been poisoned, some say, “she was strangled to dead by her jealous boyfriend for posting another man on her status.”

The boyfriend has reportedly been arrested for further investigations.
