Cameroonian actor, Daniel Nsang, receives massive support following his nude video leakage.

The social media space in Cameroon has in the past few hours been inundated with messages of support for Daniel Nsang.

The renowned actor made headlines after nude videos purportedly featuring him surfaced online. According to reports, the video initially leaked on Snapchat before spreading to various online platforms.

Emy Dany Bassong, an award-winning actress and apparent friend of Nsang, expressed dismay, stating, “The malice that people have succeeded in spreading is spine-chilling; for no reason, someone is capable of ignoring the smile you once gave them. Daniel Nsang is a friend of mine; stop tarnishing his name.” Bassong has previously collaborated with Nsang on several movie projects.

“Facebook is a dangerous place; courage, Daniel Nsang,” wrote Blaise Option, a movie producer.

Maahlox, a renowned Cameroonian singer also known as Jean-Jules Kenfack, condemned the act, questioning the cruelty of secretly filming someone naked while they sleep. “How did this public display help you?” he added.

“This is unthinkable, may God guide us all,” remarked Marcelle Kuetche, an actress and comedian.

Numerous other actors have shown their solidarity with Nsang through social media posts featuring his picture or messages of support.

Nsang, who boasts over one million followers on his Facebook page, has not commented on the incident.

The 33-year-old actor is currently enjoying success in his career, having appeared in popular series such as “Trauma” (2019), “Irrational Love” (2020), and “Fantasma” (2018).

He has also featured in productions like “Madame Monsieur” and “La Bataille des Cheries.”
