Cameroonian basketballer dies in the Philippines

Clement Leutcheu, a former member of the Douala Basketball School, was surprisingly found dead inside his room on Saturday, February 6th, 2021 in Manila, the capital of the Philippines.

The main cause of the death of the 25-year-old Cameroonian is still obscure but could come to the limelight in the days ahead as a medico-judicial investigation has been launched by Philippino authorities.

It is however being speculated by some family members with whom he communicated on Friday before he died on Saturday, that he might have died of a heart attack.

Clement Leutcheu has become the second Cameroonian in just about 5 months to be found dead in his room in Manila in the Philippines.

It was a similar situation with late Cameroonian student, Anyangwe Daryl Bobga, who was equally found dead in his room seated on a chair. His roommate found him dead.

However, despite numerous claims of a possible assassination by his friends and family members, given that he was not diagnosed with any sickness at the time, there was no clear evidence of that being the case.
