Cameroonian becomes DR Congo’s second coronavirus patient

Health authorities in DR Congo have confirmed that the second person tested positive is a 46 year Cameroonian who lives in DR Congo with his family.

According to BBC, he returned from France on the 8th of March 2020 but did not show symptoms of the virus.

DR Congo’s health authorities have identified 117 people who have come into contact with both of the country’s confirmed cases.

Meantime, Kenya has confirmed its first coronavirus case. A woman tested positive is said to have arrived from US on the 5th of March but tested positive for the virus yesterday Thursday March 12th.
