Armand Zorn, a 33-year-old Cameroonian-born has been voted as a Member of the German Parliament (German Bundestag) for the city of Frankfurt.
The election was carried on Sunday 26, 2021 and he was voted on the ticket of the Social Democratic Party, SDP. Speaking after his election into the house, Armand Zorn said “as the candidate with the most votes in a constituency of 182, I was elected directly into the German Bundestag. This support and trust from so many voters touch and overwhelms me.”
Armand Zorn was born in 1988 in Yaounde, Cameroon, and later moved to Germany when he was 12 years old. He studied Economics, Business Law, and Political Science.
He worked at the Federal Ministry of Finance, the French National Assembly, and the European Commission. In 2015, Armand became a business management consultant in Frankfurt where he worked as a project manager for digital transformation and economic sustainability.
