Cameroonian celebrity, comedian, Old Pancho CY International has slammed top Cameroonian entertainers for boycotting fellow celebrity, Abonjem Lesley alias Fhish’s funeral.
Going by names, pointed out the absentee celebrities, Stanley Enow, Mr. Leo, Blanche Bailey, Daphne, whom he expected, but were not present at the moment of his speech.
He regrets that when Fhish emerged winner of the second edition of the Biggy 237 reality show, no big Cameroonian entertainer came to render congratulatory words, except for him and a certain Egbe Solly.
“If you know you are a celebrity and you attended the proclamation of Fhish’s win of the Biggy 237, put your hand up. Only me and Solly Egbe went to celebrate with Fhish. The other entertainers all went mute. This is bad,” he yelled
The actor further said that many people who were quick to bid farewells to late singer Fhish were not there to congratulate him during his successful moments.
“We must learn to honor people while they live, not wait for them to die… This is not the new generation we want to build,” he adds.
In a similar declaration, while noting that Fhish is an icon that represented Cameroon as an artist, while he lived, the businessman expressed his dismay over the no concern shown by government officials.
“We expected the government to honor Fhish with a remarkable escort. We don’t need to meet them before getting such opportunities.”
