Cameroonian commits suicide in Dubai prison

A man by name Peter Felle Etindele based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates has reportedly ended his life.

Said to hail from Limbe, a town in the South West Region of Cameroon, the young man was found lifeless by his prison mates today Wednesday, October 19, 2022.

According to reports, his body was handed over to the Consulate General of Cameroon in Dubai by the police for identification.

The real circumstances being the act were however not disclosed.

Persons capable of identifying the young man’s family have been urged to come forth and link them with UAE authorities.

Hundreds of Cameroonians are behind bars in the UAE for multiple reasons. Months back, many crowd out for Cameroonian authorities to renew their passports and other identification papers to prevent them from getting arrested, detained and deported.
