Cameroonian journalist, Olivia Bossal, a reporter for Info TV, has been found after she was announced missing on January 2nd, 2024, the television channel has confirmed.
“She has been found. Thank you all for looking out,” the TV channel announced without giving further details.
Her disappearance on Tuesday raised alarm amongst family, colleagues, and the wider media community.
Relatives reported they had not been able to reach out to Bossal, and colleagues who visited her home that day confirmed she wasn’t there overnight.
Adding to the concern, Info TV stated on their official Facebook page: “Olivia Bossal, a political journalist for Info TV, has been missing since yesterday. Her family and colleagues have not heard from her since this morning.”
Olivia Bossal, a respected figure in Cameroonian journalism, is known for her work as a political journalist with the Météo group and as one of the 8 p.m. presenters on Info TV.
