Cameroonian opposition politician rallies behind Bobi

Fabrice Lena, Secretary General of the People’s Action Party, PAP in Cameroon has declared his “unflinching support” for Uganda’s Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu also known as Bobi Wine.


Wine, 38, is this Thursday challenging 76-year-old Yoweri Museveni who is seeking to extend his 34 years in power by five more years.


Millions of Ugandans have been queuing up to vote in a presidential and parliamentary elections, amid increasing tension and an internet shutdown.


The popstar-turned politician has been able to gain the admiration of millions of youths who stand for his change agenda in Uganda.


“You represent the youths (38years), You represent the hope of the mighty Ugandan people. I loves especially your persistence and resilience which can only come from having been given the chance to work through difficult problems., though times, but at each time, standing up again to restart with fierce and courage,” writes Lena, one of Cameroon’s young and vibrant politicians.


Lena went on to say “I pray the youths of Uganda and the rational electorates vote you in their numbers today and make us proud of the changing dynamics in African politics and leadership.
We pray for transparency and fairness in managing and publication of results. God be our helper.”


“You are an example to emulate, anyone from any walk of life can make the difference. You just need the right mentorship, altitude, values and support to be there,” he told Bobi Wine adding his usual slogan: “the People First.”
