Cameroonian, Rebecca Enonchong, named Africa’s Female Leader Of The Year



Cameroonian techpreneur, Rebecca Enonchong has been named by
Business Insider Africa as Female Leader Of The Year.

Rebecca was named winner in the category which seeks to recognize outstanding business leaders and entrepreneurs who regardless of gender are driving change, and making a significant impact in Africa.



This was after she dominated the voting phase which ran from March 21st to April 3rd, 2022, garnering over 70% of the votes.

“Thanks a million to all who voted for me! This community is the best! Final vote was 73.51%” she wrote on Twitter.



Rebecca Enonchong’s story is one which inspires millions across Cameroon and the world in general. Armed with over two decades of experience, her impact on tech and entrepreneurship in Africa cannot be undermined.




In addition to civil society advocacy, she has spent much of her career promoting technology through nonprofit initiatives. She is also founder of the Africa Technology Forum, a non-profit dedicated to helping technology startups on the continent.
