Cameroonian stabs 29-year-old ex-wife to death in Canada

A 29-year-old Cameroonian lady by name Gisele Itale Betandi was stabbed to death by her Cameroonian ex-husband in Montréal, Canada.

The incident took place on Thursday, September 8, 2022, while the victim was about to leave her residence.

According to reports, the incident happened at a parking lot at Gisele’s residence. The latter was about taking her children to school when she was stabbed by the father of the kids aged 3, 2, and 2 months.

She was stabbed under the watchful eyes of these tender children.

It is reported that Gisele had been a victim of abuse by her husband countless times before she finally decided to run and settle elsewhere with her children. In this light, she filed for a divorce after which her husband, said to be in his 50s, was warned never to approach her.

However, last Thursday turned sour for her as she was stabbed to death by the said ex-husband.

The assailant after attempting to escape was however apprehended by the forces of law and order.
