Cameroon’s Opposition Leader Kidnapped?

Unconfirmed reports say Ni John Fru Ndi, the Chairman of the Social Democratic Party has just been kidnapped.

Surrounding residents have confirmed gunshots were heard in the area few minutes ago this June 28th 2019.

John Fru Ndi resides in Ntarikon, in the restive North West Region of Cameroon.

We could not also confirm reports that his guard was shot in the leg by the attackers.

Late April 2019, he was kidnapped in Wainana, Bui Division by Ambazonian fighters as he led a funeral convoy for the burial of his MP.
He was however, released few hours later.
