The presidential flag bearer for the Social Democratic Front (SDF) party, Hon Joshua Osih, has reiterated his planned visits to the two English speaking regions.
In a release issued this Tuesday September 25, 2018, Hon Joshua Osih indicated that the SDF campaign caravan shall hit the Northwest and Southwest Regions shortly after the East Region.
“Following popular demands, President Joshua Osih, will respect his appointment with the population of the East Region as per the electoral campaigns calendar. He shall thereafter, return to the Campaigns headquarters in Douala, before embarking on a massive campaign in the Northwest and Southwest regions,” the release read.
Though no definite date as to the planned campaigns visit to the two English speaking regions has been announced, it is however clear that the SDF campaign team is bent on meeting the people of the two regions amidst uncertainties.
Besides the CPDM party that successfully launched its campaigns in the two regions, no other political party has set foot in the regions.
Meanwhile, the other presidential candidates held campaign rallies in the following regions:
Akere in the South Region
- today – Sangmelima and ebolowa.
- Wednesday – Eseka, Bot MAKAK, Edea and Dibamba.
Maurice Kamto in the East Region after a recess Monday.
Serge Espoir Matomba is in the Centre Region.
Cabral is in the Centre; held a meeting at his headquarters after annulling his rallies in the West region and Moungo.
Prophet Frankline Ndifor Afanwi is in Kribi, South Region to explain his manifesto to population.
Garga Haman Adji arrived Douala today after meeting voters in Edea Sanaga Maritime Division.
Biya Paul is being represented all over Cameroon by his surrogates.
