Some Canadian investors have expressed interest in reconstructing the crisis-ravaged Far North region.
The investors made known their intention during an audience with a representative of the Far North Governor, Midjiyawa Bakary.
According to Jay Vom Vadiveloo, head of the Canadian delegation, they have been to the field to carry out surveys. Vom said from their findings, the region will offer them a suitable platform to invest and enhance its socioeconomic development as well.
The representative of the Governor on his part assured the Canadian investors of government’s readiness to accompany them in the development partnership vision.
Canada and Cameroon it should be noted, are the only countries in the world that have English and French official languages.
