The Founder/President of the Centre for Human Rights and Democracy in Africa, CHRDA, Nkongho Felix Agbor Balla has termed the demise of Cameroon’s lone Cardinal, Tumi Christian as a great loss.
Sharing a brief biography of the prelate who died yesterday, Nkongho Felix often referred to as Agbor Balla recalled that “Tumi was the first and only Cameroonian cardinal”.
The Cardinal was “… A staunch advocate for a just society, a defender of the rights of the oppressed, suppressed and marginalized,” he stated.
The Cardinal’s death, he added, “…. is a great Loss. RIP the Peoples’ Cardinal”.
