CBC Health Services Debunks Rumours Of Trade In Corona Virus Prevention Tablets

The Mboppi Baptist Hospital jn Douala has distanced itself from rumors circulating on the social of two dead in the hospital as a result cholera and the selling of preventive tablets for corona virus.
In a release signed by Tih Pius Muffih, director of the CBC health service, “two patients aged 38 and 40 years(male and female) went into hyvolemic shock and died while the doctors were about to refer them to New Bell District hospital”.

The release says they were diagnosed with “…a history of diarrhea and vomiting”. Mboppi Baptist hospital points that the district medical officer was informed and he immediately arrived the hospital to take necessary measures in case it was a cholera case.
The hospital says information of treating cholera in the hospital is false and unfounded.
In the same vein, the hospital denied allegations of selling preventive tablets against coronavirus while reassuring the population that Cameroon’s minister of health has the competency to make such declaration if founded within the national territory.
