Hon. Patricia Ndam Njoya Voted New Mayor Of Foumban Council

Hon. Patricia Tomaino Ndam Njoya has been elected Mayor of Foumban Council in Noun division in the West region of Cameroon.

Hon. Patricia Ndam Njoya of the Cameroon Democratic Union party thereby replaces her husband Dr. Adamu Ndam Njoya that has been at the helm of the council during the last mandate.

Hon. Patricia’s election as Mayor commentators conclude that she is not longer interested in the position of a member of parliament though results of parliamentary elections are still being awaited.

In Mezam division, Tanjong Martin is elected Mayor of Tubah council under the Cameroon People Democratic Movement -CPDM. Between 2013 to when election was organised this year,he was serving as mayor under the Social Democratic Front SDF.

Meantime, Ngwa Laurence is the new mayor of Bafut while Fonguh Cletus has been elected the mayor of Bamenda 3.

The election of other mayors is also ongoing in several councils across the national territory.
