CCFGA Slams National, International Actors In Anglophone War, Claims Self Righteousness

The Coalition of Cameroon Federalist Group and Activists (CCFGA) has slammed national, international influential figures and organizations, for continually responding to the Anglophone Crisis with mere indignation and condemnation messages, for the past five years now.

In a statement issued on December 16th, 2021, portraying some analysis of the long and recent havoc of the war, citing the most recent Mbengwi road military retaliatory carnage on civilians, The movement, termed the actions of these influential personalities and organs as, “Hypocritic and Crocodile tears”, given that no perpetrators have been tracked and punished.

Clearing its part, the CCFGA, called for the immediate cessation of hostilities, to aid peaceful settlement of the conflict through genuine dialogue and negotiations on the root causes of a war that has turned bloody towards the civilian population, than the combatants.

The release signed by the CCFGA Boss, Dr. Simon Munzu, stated that in the aftermath of the crisis, the State must form ‘“A Truth, Justice and Reconciliation Commission, tasked to fack check during crisis crimes, to aid the establishment of Justice, with reparation settlements of wounded, as well as families of the deaths.”

According to the organization, the only means of keeping innocent Anglophone civilians out of harm’s way is to initiate a true and meaningful dialogue among the warring parties, who as of now, are yet to include such in their different agendas.

While regretting that the root causes of the war revolve around marginalization, dominance, and assimilation of a part of a once Federated Cameroon, by another supposedly equal partner during the reunification agreement, the coalition concludes without a doubt that the solution to the crisis plaguing The North West and South West regions of Cameroon is the re-establishment of the federal system of government.

In the above regard, the coalition calls on all Cameroonians to keep asides personal ideologies and political affiliations, to work together towards a common goal, perceived to be the solution to the five-year-old ‘Ambazonian’ struggle for Independence.
