Center Region: Teacher falls in well, dies while attempting to escape deadly snake

A teacher whose name MMI got as Mpesse Jean Claude has fallen into a well and died after he was chased by a deadly snake in Nkoteng, the Center region of Cameroon.

According to the page “Grand prof.” which disseminates information about teachers, Mr. Mpesse Jean Claude, bursar at the Technical High School of Nkoteng in the center region died last weekend at his colleague’s place.

“According to the testimony of the discipline master at whose home he died, a snake appeared out of nowhere and began to attack the 02 teachers,” the page reads.

While trying to escape, the teacher fell into a well 18 meters deep which had no water and was not covered. He died on the spot and the snake could not be found.

Authorities arrived at the scene and the teacher’s body was extracted. An investigation has been opened.
