Center regional tax delegate, Mvogo Emile, released from Kondengui

The head of the center regional tax center, Mvogo Emile has been released from the Kondengui prison on Friday June 10, 2022.

Mvogo Emile was arrested over a month ago after the CEO of the anecdote group, Amougou Belinga, filed a complaint against her.

It is reported that the head of the anecdote group filed a complaint against Mvogo for attempting to extort the sum of 500 million Francs CFA from the anecdote company.

Mvogo Emile, who happens to be wife to a CRTV journalist after spending more than a month behind bars was released and happily welcomed by her family members.

In a release by the Minister of Finance, Louis Paul Motaze, addressing the director General of the anecdote group, he
demanded that part of the tax must be paid else the complaint will be inadmissible.

“In this case, it appears from the examination of the procedural documents that your company did not meet this legal requirement,” He indicated.

Prior to this, claims were made by the Directorate General of taxes, stating that nearly 20 billion tax had to be paid by the Anecdote group led by Amougou Belinga
