A student of Technical High School Kiiki in the Mbam and Enoubou Division of Cameroon’s Centre Region has been stabbed to death by a comrade of another school, Government High School Mokou in the same subdivision.
The incident reportedly took place at about 2:30 p.m. Monday, near GHS Mokou.
Both students had been fighting when Nkemi Kelvin of GHS Mokou removed a knife and pierced his counterpart, Machia Nyam Mohamed, to death.
The corpse was taken to the Kiiki District Hospital mortuary after attempts to save the young student’s life proved futile.
The Mokou-Kiiki Gendarmerie Brigade has opened up investigations into the incident.
In January this year, a 15-year-old student of GTHS Nkolbisong stabbed his mathematics teacher to death after failing a Maths test.
In March, a form-four student stabbed language teacher, Njomou Tintchieu Esther, at a private school in Yaounde.
