CHAN 2021: PM invites Cameroonians to turnout massively in Stadiums

The Head of Government, Chief Dr Joseph Dion Ngute has invited Cameroonians to massively take to stadia around the country to cheer their team during the upcoming African Nations Football Championship (CHAN) in January.

The Prime Minister was on an inspection tour of infrastructures that will host the competition Yesterday December 10, wherein he expressed extreme satisfaction at the quality of preparedness and availability of the edifices.

The Prime Minister remarked that the stadia were top class and could compare to any other structures anywhere in the world, even complementing that it could host a world cup tournament.

“I believe that Cameroonians should be proud of what the country has been able to accomplish under President Biya” he said.

“The stadia I have seen are the same ones you can see in any big city around the world. They are modern and solid infrastructure that will last for at least 100 years and for generations to come. We can now even host a world cup” he mentioned.


Upon complementing the state of infrastructure of the Yaoundé Mfandena football stadium and the Olembe Olympic stadium, the Prime Minister, heavily defiant of the threats of Coronavirus, called on Cameroonians to attend massively football games in the various stadiums.

“I take this opportunity to urge Cameroonians to come to stadiums en masse. It will be a fun month for us, we are coming out of Covid-19. It will be hot for all Cameroonians after a rather difficult year”.
