Cameroon’s First Lady, Chantal Biya, president of the Chantal Biya Foundation, hosted a heartwarming Christmas Tree celebration. This brought joy to 1,500 sick and vulnerable children on Monday, December 23.
The event was a colourful and vibrant occasion, filled with smiles, music, and the spirit of giving.
Highlighting the ceremony was a captivating performance by Ama Pierrot.
He sang wholeheartedly, delighting the First Lady and the children.
His lively performance added to the festive atmosphere, creating cherished memories for everyone present.
The children, wearing white tops, their parents with them, were visibly happy as they received gifts from the First Lady herself.
Their radiant smiles lit up the celebration.
Women of the foundation, adorned in the Foundation’s attire, sang joyful songs, adding to the warmth and unity of the occasion.
Some of the children took the opportunity to thank the Foundation for the gesture.
One child, beaming with excitement, said, “A gift from the First Lady represents immense joy for me because I have never seen Madame Chantal Biya before. Thank you, Mama!”
Another child exclaimed, “I am very happy for these gifts. It is a pleasure to see Madame Chantal Biya for the first time. Happy Christmas to Madame Chantal Biya!”
