Chaos in Ukraine: Cameroonian Authorities Silent As African Counterparts Evacuate Citizens

Over 20,000 Cameroonian students are in limbo in Ukraine, with Cameroonian authorities yet to react following today’s early morning Russian invasion of the European nation.

African countries like Ghana and Nigeria have already reached out to their citizens in Kyiv and other parts of Ukraine for an evacuation strategy.

With over 40 deaths already recorded today alone following the attacks, Cameroonians in Ukraine are growing restless about their safety.

Hundreds of Cameroonian families that traveled to the war-hit nation have also remained stranded with no way out.

Cameroonians in Ukraine have reached out to the Government and told them they must act now to avert any disasters. “They have to act now… Protect Cameroonian citizens as soon as possible.” Stranded Cameroonians have insisted.
