The Cameroon General Certificate of Education, (GCE) Board has imposed damning sanctions on GCE examination officials of GBHS Isangele, In the Ndian Division, South West Region, in the aftermath of an examination marred by leakages.
A communique signed by Dang Akuh Dominic, Registrar of the GCE Board on June 9, 2023, said Mr Tabot Eliot Tanka, the Chief of centre, alongside Osang Mbote Lawrence, Aboko Felix, Nkengfack Gregory, Anjeh Paul, and Nguessa Fred were “suspended from participating in all GCE Board activities of the 2023 examination session as from Friday, 9 June 2023.”

The communique equally announced that the suspended chief of center will be replaced immediately by Mr. Ekuna Michael Mbando, currently serving as Senior Discipline Master at GTC Akwa Bakassi.
This suspension is currently the very first official reaction from the Cameroon GCE Board, following the scandalous leaks of examination questions of the recently ended GCE 2023 session.
MMI investigated and released pictures and documents from secret online platforms where ready-made GCE questions and answers were being exchanged for cash.
Many Cameroonians who reached out to MMI demanded for the leaked exams to be annulled, and for culprits to be given maximum punishments.
