Circumstances behind Douala Medical Doctor’s kidnap revealed at last

Five persons have been apprehended in Edea, Littoral Region of Cameroon over the kidnap of medical Doctor in Douala.

According to reports, the kidnap was masterminded by a 37 year old man alongside four accomplices.

The intend was to extort money from the victim’s family.

The 37 year old man reportedly passed for Dr Sandjon, president of the national order of medical orders after which he demanded to meet with the victim.

The perpetrators rented an apartment on the third floor of a building, few kilometres away from Dr Sandjon’s clinic, where they planned to hold her hostage.

Once Dr Olivia arrived Dr Sandjon’s clinic , the master planner sent one of his accomplices under the cover of ‘his driver’, to pick up the Doctor, convincing her they were taking her to an annex of the hospital.

“We scotched her mouth and legs, told her to stay silent and collaborate,if she did not want to be harmed.”

The Doctor’s phone was later taken to a village, 10 kilometres away from city of Edea in a bid to hide every possible trace of their presence.

However, thorough investigations by the police led to the discovery of the medical Doctor and the perpetrators, few days later.

The fate of the 37 year old man and his four complices as for now lies in the hands of the judicial officers.
