A Cameroonian Civil Society Activist Kudi Ruben Kum has addressed a letter to the Unity Palace in which he has called on Cameroonian President, H.E Paul Biya to Ignore advice given to him by his close collaborators and solve the Anglophone crises.

Mr. Kudi Ruben in his letter insists that President Biya has everything at his disposal to end the anglophone crisis if he wished to, as he is Head of State, an authority to whom all Cameroonians are answerable.

However, Kudi Ruben tells President Paul Biya that his collaborators have been lying to him about the facts on the ground and that it will take bypassing them to get the facts of the happenings in the North West and South West Regions of Cameroon.

“I wish to call on you, Your Excellency, to shun every advice given you from around your Entourage and focus on your reputation as Head of State as you will be remembered,” he advises.

He also reminds President Biya that no one is bigger than him in times like this one especially and that all Cameroonians are now looking up to him to get the country out of this crisis.

Kudi Ruben goes further to propose for initiation of a dialogue process by asking President Paul Biya to identify “Sincere minded people with whom the leaders of the crisis-hit regions may sit and deliberate with you and get a common consensus.”

This, he says “will avoid the loss of more lives and save the dignity of the country, save the economy and rebuild the trust the world has always had for Cameroon.”
