Francine Jisele from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) has opened up about her unique marital situation, happily living with not one but two husbands.

Jisele’s journey into this unconventional relationship began when her first husband, Remi Murula, left in search of a better life, severing communication with her and their two children.

“Just because life was not easy, the man went on a trip and never came back. I found myself alone out here, I spent three years and half in a single life without my husband,” Jisele said.

Undeterred by the abandonment, Jisele decided to move forward with her life and found love again in Albert Jarlace, who became her second husband.

Unexpectedly, Murula returned a year later, only to discover that Jisele had moved on and married another man.

“After those years I lost him I fell in love with this other man. After one year with the second husband, the first one came back,” she revealed.

Faced with this situation, Jarlace expressed his powerlessness as the second husband.

“I met this woman when I was working in the mining industry and she told me that she had another husband and how that man left her saying that he was going to find a life,” explained Albert Jarlace.

“I felt I had no choice because we were already together since I had lived with her not knowing she had another man,” he added.

The trio, comprising Jisele, Murula, and Jarlace, made the decision to live together under the same roof, despite the initial challenges.

Jisele, expressing contentment, stated that the two men coexist harmoniously, sharing meals, sleeping arrangements, and daily life.

While living together in apparent harmony, Jisele admitted that managing intimacy poses a challenge.

She expressed a desire for each husband to have a separate home, eliminating the need for awkward encounters in the same bedroom.

The arrangement involves one husband leaving the room when Jisele wants to be with the other.

Despite the complexities, Jisele maintains that the situation doesn’t bother her, and she cherishes the love she shares with both husbands.

However, she acknowledges the discomfort it causes her partners and expresses hope for a future where each man has his own space.

Both Murula and Jarlace, though initially troubled by the arrangement, have accepted their roles in the polyamorous union.

Murula stated that they will continue living together until one of them decides otherwise.
