A couple in Dschang, in the West Region of Cameroon, have lost their lives after they were crushed by a maddening truck in an unfortunate road accident at a place called MC2 Foreke.
The couple, Innocent Fongang, and his partner Clarisse Folefack, had boarded a motorbike as they returned from work together.
The unfortunate tragedy occurred as the bike rider tried to overtake a moving trailer on the road, leading to it being crushed by the truck.
The couple was smashed by the truck and died instantly. The bike rider however survived the crash and is receiving intense medical care at a hospital.
Persons who witnessed the accident have blamed it on the recklessness of the motorbike rider. They said the accident could have been avoided if the rider had not been on high speed and a little more cautious.
