Search for General No Pity:
Army launches new raid in Noni, loots stores

Residents of Nkali Din , a locality in Noni Subdivision of the North West Region of Cameroon are still counting their losses after security officials raided their homes.

In what is a continued raid in search of separatist ‘General’, No Pity, locals say shops and houses were destroyed.

The soldiers entered the locality as early as 4:00AM, MMI gathered, not minding the heavy rains.

“They came through Ngai, still a village in Din, then they arrived Nkali Din,” a local told MMI.

“The soldiers,” he added, “… Are also destroying stores and going away with items… Everybody has escaped so they have taken advantage of the situation to destroy and loot stores.”

The raid follows a similar move barely days ago wherein several houses were burnt by soldiers, still in Noni Subdivision.

Despite the multiple raids and damages, the military is yet to lay hands on No Pity who is known to be responsible for several attacks on the army in the North West Region of Cameroon.
