Daiga Musong, a customs clearing agent has mysteriously disappeared since Monday without any traces of his whereabouts.
Relatives of Mr. Daiga Musong say he had a case with the Gendarmerie Compagnie in Bota, Limbe concerning some goods which he had cleared from Nigeria.
The goods were deemed harmful by the Gendarmerie and thus seized, though Mr. Daiga insisted it was agricultural pesticides.
Relatives of the missing man say he was called on Monday, October 11, 2021, by an anonymous Gendarme officer for questioning. “Till date, we haven’t heard from him. Even his car which he drives to the Gendarmerie is nowhere to be found,” testifies one of his relatives.
His family also says they were repelled by the Bota Gendarmerie when they went to find out if Mr. Daiga had been kept there. The Gendarmes said he was not at the station and that he hasn’t been seen.
