Classes have continued unabated in the University of Bamenda as the count down to strike action by lecturers goes on. The University lecturers last week, made public a strike notification. Asking that their security be beefed up and roads to the school amended, they said the failure of authorities to do so in ten days, they shall embark on strike action.

The search for the self-styled general No Pity by elements of Cameroon’s defense forces has reached Boyo Division. Reports from Mbessa say elements of defense forces stormed the area today burning down homes and shooting at random.

Cameroon’s Volleyball Lionesses have demanded an increase in their bonuses from the Volleyball Federation. According to a letter signed by the team captain, the bonuses they have been offered are insignificant compared to their service to the nation.
