At least three Cameroonian soldiers have been killed in Jakiri, Bui Division, North West Region by gunmen, suspected to be separatist fighters. The attack took place at the security post inside the Jakiri Main Market.


A video of a student and teacher exchanging blows has gone viral on social media. The incident was recorded at the Government Technical High School, Bamenda. It is one of many confirmations of the marked increased violence in schools, with teachers coming under constant attacks from their students.


The Cameroonian military has freed 6 Hostages from Boko Haram captivity in the Far North Region. They were also able to recover some stolen ammunition and military material from the Boko Haram terrorists during the operation.
