Nji Amidu has been named new traditional ruler of the Nkambe people in the Donga Mantung division, North West region. The new Fon replaces his father who went ‘missing’ some days ago.


The Senior Divisional Officer for Fako in the South West Region has prohibited any nocturnal celebrations from today December 15th to January 15th. The administrator in a release said the move is to guarantee the security of the local population during the festive period.


Paul Atanga Nji, Minister of Territorial Administration today headed an inter-governmental team to Kousseri in the Far North. The team had as goal, putting an end to the inter-tribal conflict of the Mousgoums and Arab Choa that has seen many lives lost. The visit has left many questioning why similar efforts are not put in place to resolve the Anglophone crisis.


The President of the Evangelical Church of Cameroon, Pastor Samuel Hendje Toya has resigned from his position as President. His resignation is said to be linked with a misunderstanding with those who contested against him during the elections which saw him become president in 2017.



Kongnso Antoinette, the ex-girlfriend of self-styled Ambazonian ‘General No Pity’ has finally been released from the Buea Central Prison after almost 4 months in detention. Her lawyers are believed to have secured her release on the evening of December 15, 2021 on bail.



The European Club Association (ECA), is believed to be pushing for the African Cup of Nations Tournament in Cameroon to be postponed. According to a statement by the ECA, they are more concerned about the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on players who will get called up to compete at the tournament.


Nyassa Soleil, a current member of the FECAFOOT executive board has revealed that he was an infiltrator inside the Seidou Mbombo Njoya camp ahead of the recently ended FECAFOOT Elections. Among other things, he complained that the former president was not social enough with his staff, and that he had not received his 600,000Frs pay for close to 4 years under Seidou Mbombo Njoya.
