The Finance and Budget Committee of the National Assembly meets tomorrow with the Audit Bench of the Supreme Court. The sitting is one of the last in the ongoing November session of Parliament.



Gunshots have been reported in the Gar and Bonamuma neighborhooda of Kumba in the South West Region. Locals were preparing to go to sleep when the gunshots erupted. Those responsible, remain unidentified.

An alleged assassin has been arrested by forces of law and order in Abong Mbang, East Region of Cameroon. The 28 year old has been accused of murdering an individual in Akono in the Mefou and Akono Division late last month.

At least 11 persons have been killed in an Intertribal Conflict between the Mousgoums and the Choa Arabs in the Far North Region. The bloody conflict between the two clans was sparked off by a disagreement over a cattle track between rearers and fishermen.

Cameroonians have taken to social media to call for the arrest of Pastor Ngoa Atangana Boniface, who has made extremely xenophobic utterances against Anglophones and Bamilekes in Cameroon. Amongst other things, he said Bamilekes will never lead Cameroon and that Anglophones suffer from inferiority complex.

An accident occurred today in Yaounde at the Terminus Mimboman neighbourhood. This involved a trailer transporting planks, which fell on cars and motorbikes. Fortunately, no person was hurt by the accident.

Calm has returned to OIC, Buea after a bomb went off in the market today. A second explosive was contained by the forces of law and order. The attack was believed to have been conducted by separatist fighters. No casualty was recorded.
