Family and friends of three Anglophone detainees who were whisked off from the Kondengui Central Prison are urging government to provide answers about their welfare. The detainees were found at the Secretariat for Defense, close to four months after they went ‘missing’ from the prison. The three are among hundreds of others arrested in connection with the Anglophone crisis.



Ndong Chamberlin, Senior Divisional Officer for Meme in the South West Region has warned farmers against tempering with electric poles on their farms. Warning that the interruptions are causing power supply challenges, he has threatened to sanction any farmers that fail to heed to his warning.

Cameroon’s Minister of Public Health has announced the payment of health workers and volunteers who served during the just-ended Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON. He has asked beneficiaries to visit their regional delegations for the payments.

At least three persons have been injured in a road accident today in Douala, in the Littoral Region. Fortunately for the occupants of the car involved, no human life was lost.



Government Practicing School Molyko was today attacked and burnt down by alleged separatist fighters. At least one classroom was completely razed down by the armed men who disappeared after the act.

Renowned rapper, Stanley Enow today spent his birthday with inmates of the Douala New Bell prison. Announcing the visit, Stanley said it was a way of thanking God for the many blessings in his life. The rapper is now 36 years old.
