Today marks two years after at least 21 persons dead including 13 children, and a pregnant woman were brutally murdered by government soldiers in Ngarbuh, North West Region of Cameroon. The incident became what is now known as the “Ngarbuh Massacre.” Two years on, several victims say they are yet to get justice.




Cameroon: A team of six foreign partners have urged stakeholders Anglophone crisis to honour UN Security Council Resolution 2601 on the Protection of Education in armed conflict. This will be followed by a vigil on Wednesday among other activities. He will eventually be laid to rest on Friday in the nation’s capital, Yaounde. Eight persons died in the stampede.


Cameroon’s Head of State President Paul Biya has turned 89 years old. He celebrated his birthday with close friends and family at the Unity Palace on February 13, 2022. President Paul Biya has been President of Cameroon for over 39 years now, and he is one of the world’s oldest presidents.



The Mayor of Dschang has offered five hectares of land to FECAFOOT
for the construction of a football stadium. His donation comes after Samuel Eto’o had requested for a plot to construct the stadium in the region.



Antonio Conceiçao has been maintained as Indomitable Lions coach. The Minister of Sports and Physical Education, Narcisse Mouelle Kombi said the teams priority at the moment is qualifying for the world cup, and not changing the trainer. This follows social media and news reports, some of which suggested the coach might be sent packing.
